Cult writer Tea Hacic Vlahovic makes her arresting poetry debut with a bilingual Italian/English collection born from heartbreak, divorce, patriarchal abuses and a visceral loneliness in a dystopian Los Angeles. Leaving behind the sun bleached disillusionment of the Chateau Marmont, she found refuge in Viale Padova, Milan’s most vibrant and diverse neighborhood, where these raw verses took shape.

Equal parts exile's diary and feminist manifesto, this collection captures the gritty, electric collision between disillusionment and renaissance. Within these pages, the poetry moves seamlessly across punk forms, reflecting an internal horizon battered by shattered romance yet galvanized by glamorous grit. Tea strips away polite artifice, offering a witty look at modern alienation, emotional abuse, freedom and the unapologetic reclamation of selfhood far away from Hollywood's fading gloss.

Published as a limited edition, the book is a masterclass in independent collaboration. It was edited and translated by Cristiano Grim, who also captured the intimate photographs of the author inside her Milanese home studio. The striking graphic design curated by Foie Graphic bold interventions directly over the original photography in true, subversive FAKE spirit. Rounding out this unique volume is a sharp foreword by Niccolo Michelin.
